Ive got a pet shop and I wanted to accept bitcoin and alt coins then I was reading about becoming a bitcoin exchange ... is this possible? I understand its worth goes up and down.
it is possible. during your duration there are no regulations prohibiting using bitcoin or altcoin as a medium of exchange, you are free to do that. as far as I know, many people have done things like this in other fields. it's just that, you need to know what the risks are, and not all customers know about crypto, so make sure it is only used as an alternative payment.
maybe this will let Him help the Bitcoin or crypto community because he has already existing clients in which He can encourage to use crypto as alternative payments,But also you are correct because there are some individuals already that did this thing i just don't know if they are still existing and if they successfully made it through .
See if you are going to do that , you would have to first consider how you are going to exchange , choose a good wallet store them in it .
Or if you are scared of the volatility , you can just exchange the amount right at the time using some exchange but it would be nothing different than receiving money , Fiat .
Therefore I do think you should try and make an online user interface and then you can decide how many people are actually interested in it .
