Spot trading is not similar to gambling.
As to bet on the price and see what happens I think its good idea but people are more interested in trading nowadays
You are getting the point wrong. Betting on price is what Futures and Options trading is and not Spot trading. But it is the majority of the volume in markets nowadays so it has its own place among the risk taker crew.
I think both trading and investing are good but as per now market is bearish to better is to buy some coins at a low profit then hold them all and sell or trade later at the bullish market time yet the only thing which matter is to buy at the lowest price.
Investing is a term more applicable to long term stores of money, like gold, real estate and in this forum, bitcoin; still bitcoin is a good investment than altcoins.
But I think there needs to be a balance into what you are investing and what you are trading. Maybe not day trading but mid/long term gains.
