This is just an assumption without any valid reason because if you assume that bitcoin is a traditional cryptocurrency and from bitcoin it is not too hard to get good returns for your investment, then you must be complete wrong. This assumption could be right but not in all the cases especially with bitcoins. At the same time, new project may give you more profit compared to bitcoins in a given time frame but if you look for periodic returns then bitcoin must be the right option for you.

It means some new project may perform well for some period of time and then it will get dumped hardly. The exact same thing happened with ethreum in recent times and before that litecoins and dash did the same. But, bitcoins will get you at least 10X profits for every four years where no other new project has never done that so far.
