Skyexchange (one of Betfair affiliates) launched VIRTUAL cricket competitions. Firstly, virtual IPL and now t10 league. They stream simulation matches from game console on youtube and accept bets on it  lol.
Actually, if you think about how much desi punters and other fans still want to bet on their favorite sport during pandemic that decision make sense.
It's just how football fans enjoy playing and watching EA Sports FIFA football simulator on PS4.

The only problem is that bets accepting based on bookmaker model, not on exchange model.
Why Betfair didn't implement something similar...
