If gambling is not your means of livelihood, you should not, gambling for fun should be, come and go if you are going to list your winnings and your losses, chances are you are not going to enjoy the game the fun factor is not going to be there anymore, because you will see the big money you've lost than the small sum of money you've won.
I can agree with this, if it's not important for you why would you keep track? You risk how much you can lose, and no worries if that happens, in case of win you can do with your money whatever you want, more gambling or cashing out and buying some cool stuff!
Keeping track of deposits and withdrawals doesn't need to be strict, in most casinos you can check your transfer history and make quick math about where are you, but I rarely do that. I don't like when I am losing too much in a row, but after some time I always get some win from somewhere and it's how I survive for years in gambling!
