I don't think you really got what he was saying. I mean, 7k is a lot of money. Heck it's more than 4 years of minimum salary where I live, I would be super stunned if I bet my house on that and still lost.

I have never said that I have no feelings when gambling, it is not my intention. But to talk about the stunned when gambling, it is not a feeling that can happen to 7,000 dollars. Maybe because the odds were all with you, you should have won with all your money put into it. It's like imagine you bought 90% of all golden tickets but someone with just 0.004% won the Lambo. Yes, you would be stunned too. It can be about the money, but it can simply be about the surprising things that should not have happened but did:)
Call a fool a fool, but I've met plenty of gambling people and their house is not the worst that's been gambled.
