That is literally what you can expect from an share based investment opportunity, everyone gets around the same amount of ups and downs because many people are making different deposits and investments and that means new inflow of money will lead to bigger bets and bigger profits to house hence if house makes 10 bitcoin and you get 10% that is 1 bitcoin, and if your share goes down to 5% but house makes 20 bitcoins profits still you may make the same 1 bitcoin profits.

Those happens all the time and I think profiting is a lot more frequent however that doesn't mean there won't be any lows neither, I am sure there are many lows in the investment world anyway so let's not act like this is rare.
