Hey KingCaper,

Hope everything is well during this time of global uncertainty. Do you think the future direction of MOIN would maintain its privacy roots? As in, where ever the project ends up, would it still have a privacy focus?

In regard to financing the project, I think ilog had a good idea about taxing the staking rewards. It just would give the project constant source of revenue, while a business model is established.

In regard to the MOIN project itself, I like the path that Brave has taken with their browser, leveraging blockchain as method of advertising obfuscation, and when ads are viewed the rewards are given to the brave project. Maybe something similar could be done with MOIN, but with mobile encrypted instant messaging or emails?

Taxing the stake rewards might be the way to go as we see many masternode projects do this and it has helped in a big way with most projects so I'm all for this if KingCapper decides to go in that direction. The thing with MOIN that a lot of people don't know about is that MOIN has anonymous chat built into the wallet, I think if we can get the word out there then maybe it could attract more people into using MOIN. But I do like your idea about mobile encrypted messaging.

I think mobile is the way to go, especially for a chat application, as no one really uses desktop based messengers. I have been chatting to Treegoat (from the discord) about it for ages. haha. I think a hybrid mobile wallet / chat (or email) application would be a perfect direction. This could be supported by a staking capability within the mobile (which would be taxed). If this is a direction we want to go, I could do the numbers of a financial models that would work for the project. Just let me know.

True, well maybe we can get a MOIN mobile wallet developed and uploaded to the app stores. I think there is a lot to work with the current wallet as it has been working perfectly and so has the chat but as you said to have a mobile chat service with staking it would be awesome. I'm all for this if KingCapper decides to go down this path.
