The whole reason why apple is reluctance and refuse to return their entire operation to US might be because they’re tired of paying tax to the US govt who constantly misuse the tax money on selfish gain, they would continue to pay their income tax to China as long as it’s not going into the hand of tyrannical government, yeah apple is a big fat cash cow that account for so much tax income that trump is drooling and want it to come back so badly it want to drain up every single drop of apple blood from its root.
The real reason why Apple and other technology companies have most of their manufacturing operations in china is because it is cheaper to mass produce products there. The supply chains that make all the products that western companies sell are mostly owned by chinese manufacturing conglomerates, and western companies must form a partnership with them if they want to make stuff. They can't just buy the manufacturing arms because China won't allow that.
And their operations aren't just in china they're in most Far Eastern country that has a low exchange rate like Vietnam and Cambodia because they are able to pay workers living there in less US dollars than they would pay someone working from the US because there is a lower standard of living in those countries and as a result of exchange rates, foriegn workers can live off of less USD than normal.
You have read too much of lies. The apple products remained to be highly priced no matter where its manufactured. You won’t see apple product coming down on price to benefit the consumers, despite it’s cheaper to produce in the east? Apple 1 is same like people price as apple ii and same price as the latest iPhone X, it’s never about price, I think you think on why apple move all of them in 2004 to China, yeah that’s the time Microsoft windows xp are booming like a boss, and apple are dying a thousand cut!
