Re: Appreciating the things we do have!?

Hey, so im nit promoting the use of illegal drugs or anything and this might not be totally related.

but i did some magic mushrooms last night, the experience itself was a bit scary and nauseating for me (if thats even a word) , however i got reminded to focus on the things i do have not the things i dont. and to build on the things i have.

i Started the day by washing the water container of the bird my father has, it was really dirty and no one cared but by looking at the things that we have we can build them and make them better.

so i washed the water container and the bird appreciated it so much , she was next to the water container all day.

and then i saw my mothers car im going to wash that too in a bit.

i realized the little friends i have are valuable to me cuz we understand each other and i appreciated it by calling them rather than being the usual me who doesnt normally care much about the friends that he does have and instead tries to win over new friends.

not that i dont care im usually a depressed person and focus on things that are not there and i believe this way i will never be satisfied and have to live my whole life waiting, while if i just see the things i have i can immediately plan to build them and refine them.

when we focus on the things that are not there we are always missing something but when the focus is on the things that we do have, we actually have things.

all in all i think we can become much better and satisfied people in our lives if we focus on the things that are already there for us and build them, refine them.

Satisfaction is unreachable for most people since we always want something and it never stops. I think we may just need to start being contented with what we have amidst this situation with covid19.
