* Gambling for me is something you have the chance of winning the prize or any value, if there is no chance then you're not gambling. Gambling requires that there is a chance you might win something for your bet.
* Gambling also considered as a way source of income, there are many gamblers who tend to play because of earning money but the sad part of it is when you tend to play for money but going out having a lack of money.
* Gambling also considered a way of entertainment, there are many people who play gamble just only for entertainment or to kill boredom, it is more fun when you play with your friends.
* Some also considered gambling as a threat, once you become addicted to gambling there are many things that could change, you may lose control, you may forget some of the responsibilities of yours, as a parent, as a child, as wife or husband, etc.
The worst thing is that you may lose all of your property and can cause depression on you.

Gambling for me is just risking your money in exchange for a chance to win big with some entertainment in the process of doing so, just like your *1 and *3 combined. Perhaps so many problem gamblers exist out there because they took this game too seriously.

Remember:
Addiction, mentally ill, health symptoms, etc. Too much negativity in the gambling industry, especially in this forum where ironically casinos have paid a lot of users.
You know what? You are a gambler even though you haven't realized it.
When you were a kid in school, you gamble in your exam when you didn't know the answer. Should I mark option A or B or C?
You gamble in your career path, your spouse, your children's education, literally everything that is unknown.
But it doesn't involve money, sir? You gamble in your purchasing and investment decisions as well.
