Regardless if JK Rowling will invest in bitcoin or not but as long as she started giving some statements about it then it is already great publicity for bitcoin. If she will invest in bitcoin and publicized it then she will be a great help for the mass adoption of bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies for more and more people will start to be aware or would even start to adopt cryptocurrency for their online transactions. Definitely these famous personalities can contribute to global awareness of the crypto world however it may still take time for people to sometimes tend to resist and afraid to adopt things that are not within their norm.
