Something that runs hand in hand with a recession is higher unemployment, so if you consider that unemployment would increase and less people would get a income, it would just be natural that there would be less people willing to risk investing money into Crypto currencies. They will sell their bitcoins (if they had) to survive.
The cost of living will also increase, so people will have less disposable income to invest in Crypto currencies. So my guess is a global decline in Bitcoin prices, until the economy recovers and people will start buying again.

I have to disagree. It assumes that big part of society is actively investing/speculating on crypto - it is not true.
I would rather see capital movement, so everyone who has already some savings or bigger capital will move to BTC/crypto, gold, silver and anything that may help preserve it.
Also we may expect that normal everyday person will start to thinking how to save/earn something - like sell second car to invest and create portfolios.
