Well I believe in the top coinmarketcap surely they are good for long term investment but the best altcoin to invest for me is ethereum, you should include eth in the list.
I'm fond of investing in ETH, and ETH is my favourite coin. Like every ETH lover l believe that ETH will rise up more in the near future, it will not take a long time to see it. No doubt as you mentioned investing in top altcoins is always profitable, they are absolutely superb for investing long-term. It would be better if we saw ETH include this list.
No doubt with that but we shouldnt really remove the possibilities that even low ranking ones would really still have that chance to climb up in near future.
It depends into its usability and relevance on the entire community but we cant really deny the fact that ETH and other top alts do really have that kind of characteristic
thats why its heavily been supported next to BTC.
all the list of projects in this thread is good, Crypterium and CRO will be great later when altcoin season arrives,
but I recommend not to invest in coins or projects that do not have clarity about the team and development, very dangerous

I think everyone should take a look at a new coin like oikos cash too consider this is a new coin that developed a fully working product. Sometimes to take the more opportunity and we must try to search a new promising coin too.

It take up some risk and more research and everyone do have its own will to make decisions in life if he do saw some opportunity to make money out of that project he's sighting on
then its up to him because no one can stop us if we do really like to support a certain project but be always make sure to have the best selection knowing that the market is flooded out
of thousands of fraud and shitcoins.
This is how investment works where we do need to risk something for us to gain and some would really like to take up a challenge for them to step up.
