There are a lot of old undervalued alts, so i dont think that you actually need to search a new coins
The main thing to look at Altcoin is the products and enthusiasts of Altcoin, not just old or new, because many old Altcoins are dead and now there is also a good new Altcoin to be owned by everyone, so to know these two things of course there must be research before already choosing.
