For trust, I think everyone would prefer Bitcoin as their main investment over altcoin. For altcoin, I think something will grow but the price is difficult to compete with Bitcoin because of trust and total supply
altcoin or whatever coin that I think will never be able to beat bitcoin because bitcoin has a very good reputation and has very high demand so many are more interested in bitcoin so that the price of bitcoin will never be beaten by other coin prices.
I share your sentiments. Bitcoin is has already capitalize the market. Not only good reputation but it possess about 50% of the market cap and this is really a huge achievement which will take several years for an altcoin to surpass. Bitcoin will lead the market forever.
