There was the halving.
There were a lot of price fluctuations, you can see here: https://bitcoinwisdom.io/markets/bitstamp/btcusd maybe set it to 4h so you can see the prices since the start of this year.
The mempool is quite loaded lately (excepting the last week-end), so the tx fees are higher and many started to complain.


Since there was the halving and also the governments are printing money (hence making it less valuable) we expect (as usual) moon 
However, some still expect huge drop and we have to stay realistic: the market is still volatile and rather unpredictable.
