Designing a logo for a new decade of adoption.
as a tech learner and bitcoin lover, I must say this project is truly a history being made.
however, wide adoption requires appeal.
not just about tech advances.. I really believe that Bitcoin should look friendly to the average person.
and as much as I love the logo dating to 2010 by bitboy, I truly think we should use something more... modern.
the current logo looks very iconic, however, after asking enough people I'm afraid to the everyday user it just strikes as too techo-like, too unfriendly and complicated.
as the world recovers from yet another financial crisis, I think this is the perfect time.
the internet became what it is today because solutions made it friendlier, more elegant, and appealing to the average user. so I decided to craft a logo I deem future proof, ready for the next decade of wide adoption:
