Officially, no. Your designs could very well be used by merchants who wish to, but the original logo should remain as is.

There is an unicode character for BTC, its . It took nearly a decade to appear, changing it is not an option. This is exactly like the dollar symbol $, there are countless styles out there, but its officially the same. Same as £, €, ¥, etc...

welp, there's a similiar unicode to my symbol, Thai baht ฿.
also - is used only by the community.
nobody else uses it, it's still not a popular unicode, not like $, or €.
the bitcoin logo started as BC by nakamoto in 2009, evolution happened, things changed.
the dollar used to be the spanish dollar - besides, bitcoin is digital.
it's been 10 years since the last design. 10 YEARS. its 2020.
my point - simplifying and adapting is the path to adoption.
really, the community would only benefit from a minimal change like this.
