I believe there will still be some people who offer fake bump, they own a lot of high ranked alt long ago.
Bump score is typically calculated based on most recent activity and merit (the last 365 days)
Your base bump power is the smaller of these two values:
- The activity you would have if you'd signed up 1 year ago.
- The merit you've earned in the last year.
So owning a high ranked alt which ranked up long ago, maybe due to airdropped merit, would not count much, except the account has been actively contributing to the forum over the past year.
Also bump score diminshes during a month. A thread bumping service would be difficult to operate, particularly as there's no guarantee that a bump would actually
bump a thread.
