Recently, it just dropped at $8.9k, and immediately returned to $9000. Looks like we will be seeing a stable price here around at $9000, in my opinion 
'cause I don't see any compelling reason for it to severely drop from where was it right now. But yeah, who knows, anyway

I think the bear will take over soon, bitcoin just dumped, and this is a kind of scenario I don't like to see when I am bullish, so I guess OP is wrong, bitcoin is going to dump and will stay at that price for a while, probably we will be back at $7k to $8, and will start to pump again in time this year. 'cause I don't see any compelling reason for it to severely drop from where was it right now. But yeah, who knows, anyway .. I just hope the price will just stay ranging on $8k to $9k because it's so hard to look on btc while bleeding. But as we are heading on September onwards, I am very optimistic that btc's price as well as the alt's will start to skyrocket once again. I can feel that's the right time for btc to finally stabilize above the $10k mark. So let's stay tuned.
