Is the family collectively worth a lot of money and have a lot of influence? Yes. But they're not as influential and rich as everyone makes them out to be.

The conspiracies against them started due to antisemitism towards Jewish people who were (and are) wealthy. Lot of BS on the internet regarding them. They're scapegoated a ton --> Like Jewish people in history are.
