If bullrun2020bro were actually begging, that'd earn him "red trust" instead of merit.
If you create a meaningful, helpful, useful post in the German board (apart from the shady area called "Altcoins") nowadays, you're probably much more likely to be rewarded with merit than in some other local boards.
That hasn't always been the case, though, and it was hard work over years to reach that point.
I sincerely hope that the French will get there as well, and wish you all the best luck.
BTW, I recall venturing into the French and Italian boards for a while to help out, but that was a long time ago, and my French and Italian are not actually that good.
