Those are impressive results. Earning $4 a day by spending little on energy, is a win-win situation. I'd want to mine crypto using the Nvidia Shield TV's GPU, but it seems that it's impossible to do so. Among the mining apps I've stumbled, there are none which allow you to mine ETH or ZEC-based cryptocurrencies. PoW algorithms like Equihash, or Ethash would've been great to mine with a GPU on Android TV devices. And since the Nvidia Shield TV is the most powerful Android TV device yet, it could make you some decent profit by mining ZEC or even ETH.
Nonetheless, I'll give Veruscoin a try using the ARM CPU of the Nvidia Shield TV. I also have some old android phones lying around, which could help me get bigger gains. If interest/demand in crypto continues to grow, we might be able to even mine crypto on our TV game consoles like the PlayStation and Xbox. It would be a blast to play your favorite games on TV while getting paid in crypto (mining on the background).
