Some of us have done a little recollection of good french posts that have not been merited.
Feel free to use them in your application if needed.
Since @Danydee is asking for "merit pack" instead being merit source, it might be a good idea if you or someone else from French board use those posts and make proper merit source application.
I've been following local board activity for some time now and making those overviews, and it is really obvious that despite constantly being among the most active local boards, French one is seriously under merited, if we compare it to the rest of the local boards. Sure, merit/post ratio might change a lot each month due various reasons, but French board is consistently at the bottom 4-5.
This is something we are aware, I'm trying to see how we can increase the quality of our board, and have people to cycle more the merit.
I did an anlyse in the french board, and found out that 95% of all the merit sent in the board are from the MS and the ripple effect.
(what I mean is that only 5% of the smerit sent comes from smerit earned in the english part that are then used/sent in the french part).
I think that main issue here is that you probably have only 1 merit source in your local board, and it is inadequate for board of your size and activity, imho. Just look at this
lists of meriters in the period between May 1st -May 31st, it is obvious that one user carries your whole local board. Probably the only way to sort that is to get 1 more merit source, but for that to happen, someone has too apply, as I somehow doubt that theymos will make an exception and introduce "merit packs".
You have quality members there, and I am sure if one of them applies, it will get support, and sooner or later merit status.
