You're right its important to have a knowledge on the nature of crypto to better understand the risk and what to keep in mind if you invest your money. Many investors lose because they invest due to fomo and didnt think of the consequences if the market turn down. I have a friend who lose his money because he invest at peak price then waited for months but already in need of money so he sell his assets at lost. Its a lesson learn for him but he decided to quit and find another opportunity outside crypto. So if you'll engage yourself here, gain knowledge first and wait for the right timing to buy.
