If you would read two last pages before commenting, then you will see that Bitsend developer replied in this thread some time ago, there is a new update on Github (new wallet version). So to say it is dead is still way too fast.

Of course, development looks not promising, additionally, there was a lot of time when the team was silent, but we can only hope that they will continue.
I also thought a few months ago that this is indeed the end, but after this latest news and updates, there is still some hope left that Bitsend will recover from this bad situation we all are in, as bag holders.
