Before now I didn't know much about the project until I started seeing discussions and chats about it in many groups because of its price increase, where some said it is because of its new listing on an exchange that's what caused the price rise. However, on checking further about the project I found out that it is a decentralized finance or DeFi project, and recently people have started developing interest in DeFi projects, so I think the nature of the project also contributed to the massive growth. Lastly, it has a maximum supply of coins or total supply of coins which according to coinmarketcap is 10,000,000 COMP.
