I believe you learned this trick from me  , you are welcome , just kidding, I am glad that more and more people are getting to prove that what most people think of as a stupid way of fixing things actually works sometimes, I got laughed at by someone about this trick and most people think it's so stupid they won't even try it, on the other hands many people reported great results with simple physical pressure applied on the heatsinks, the bad news, of course, they won't last for too long, but you can always try to revive them using the same method until there is no more hope.
