I agree that such scripts are similar to the spam that comes to emails, nuisance, and a bad way to promote, but I have some questions:


How will members be added? Will I enter them manually? So what's the point? Members will ban me if I added them into many groups, and adding the members manually makes the scripts useless?


Your team is a group of anonymous developers, it's a lot closer to saying that the script is by anonymous programmers, so what's the benefit of buying?
It will be different if we know who the developers are.
