Recessions often hit vulnerable populations hardest isn’t new. But this crisis is unique. For one, there’s a divide even among those who are employed. Lower earners, who are more likely to be on the front lines, are at higher risk of Covid-19 infection and its resulting health and financial consequences.
Right, actually in our country, most victims of the covid-19 are front liners, and we have doctors who have died, specially those who are really in the early stages of fighting the spread, really sad.
Lower earners, those with less schooling, women and certain minority groups have borne the brunt of the economic pain driven by soaring unemployment.
This is really hard and chances are we are developing anxieties thinking on how to bounce back after this. What advice can you give to most people who lose their jobs and struggling to make ends meet?
To tell you the truth, this year, I would have to shift and move my kids from private school to public. It's not that I can't afford, I have save enough for their schooling for this year, however, the online education is my big question. Although they have been doing online and paper less as everything is in e-books. But as a parent I felt that they will not get enough learning if the private school will go 100% online classes. There's no difference is terms of learning, that's why I opted them to go to public, because the public school has a good program, they have anticipated this and have prepared and printed out the materials. In a way, I can stretch the money that I save without sacrificing their education.
