We have low transaction fees because we consolidate all our deposits and batch together withdrawals making the amount of data for each user's share in each transaction smaller. That does mean that all user's transactions are dependant on each other. To allow individual users to choose fees independently would mean we have to change the entire system resulting in higher fees for everyone. It's a balancing act between faster confirmations and higher fees and we think with the nature of our site the majority would opt for lower fees and the occasional wait.
I'm a frequent user at the site and I actually always use the slow transaction option when withdrawing and I've always found it to be the cheapest option at all the sites I play on and trust me I play a lot. Sure, I have to wait up to several hours before the tx is even broadcast but if I want it urgent I can request instant anyway.
Even a few weeks ago when network was so full most other sites were charging 50k or even 100k. and it was 3600 on FBC?
it is mainly because many of those sites are trying to make a profit from their withdrawal requests too. also these types of business similar to what most exchanges do want people to keep their money in their accounts and by having higher fees they discourage withdrawals.
this site on the other hand has always charged the network transaction fee and nothing more.
