Hello guys, I've been lurking quite a bit before making an account on this forum. I'm interested in increasing my rank, and I noticed something called merit, which we obtain by others giving it to us. I was wondering how this works, do you ask for merit, do people just randomly give it out? I am unsure on how this whole thing works
If someone gives you a merit, it means that he rewards you in some way because your post helped him or he considers it constructive.
It depends on the other members and is not an automatic action but their free will.
That's why I advise you not to think too much about it but try to write well, help others and if you succeed in that other members will reward you.
