If you don’t like it, you don’t have to participate.. Everyone participating in the event is spending their time and energy. This is a community mining activity, you can sell the coins you get, it is free.
They deserve a reward, but because the result is useless, I call this initiative just wasting. Wasting of ONION on one side and wasting of time and energy on the other side.
Land mass wasting, earthquakes and other kinds of wasting are also perilously inauspicious for the humanity but it happens no matter what. Thats why wasting is not always bad.
