this is a wrong assumption because both bitcoin is very different from a commodity and is a lot better than a things such as gold or silver. considering storage, utility, security and potential.
on top of that bitcoin market has never exhibited any signs of being similar or following any other asset or any known patterns. instead it has always had a very unique rollercoaster pattern that keeps going up.
