By the looks of it there is two potentials that could happen (well probably three but the third one I doubt it). This place is so awesome, and so much profitable for the owner I am sure, that it is getting to that level where they are just way too big to not get attention from super rich.  And I mean people with billions of dollars, probably not their own only but also a group of people, like hedge fund for example or just a startup angel investment firm type of deal.

Either wetsuit will decline all offers and realize that he has a gold mine so he could just mine gold "small" (not small by any means but not collectively compared to offer) instead of taking 5-10 year profits in front and just leave, and keep going. Or one day someone will offer him so much money that wetsuit will have hard time saying no this time .
