Actually, the latest version of Electrum on Android currently has many bugs reported on Electrum Github. Which is I think the Electrum app still in beta version?

You can download old version from here
https://download.electrum.orgThe known stable/working version is 3.3.8 so you must choose this version but before you downgrade make sure you have a backup seed/wallet.
No mine auto updated from the olaystore. So it is the most recent version of the app that's been released... Like I said it has a lot of new features so some of the bugs might be due to the usage of those...
