Recessions often hit vulnerable populations hardest isn’t new. But this crisis is unique. For one, there’s a divide even among those who are employed. Lower earners, who are more likely to be on the front lines, are at higher risk of Covid-19 infection and its resulting health and financial consequences.
Lower earners, those with less schooling, women and certain minority groups have borne the brunt of the economic pain driven by soaring unemployment.
In times of crisis such as this, countries with more populations tends to suffer alot, i also come from a populated country so I know exactly how it feels like, but we just have to keep grinding and stay positive, pretty soon the storm will be over and we'll all go back to our normal lives.
What advice can you give to most people who lose their jobs and struggling to make ends meet?
It's really sad that alot of people lost their jobs because of the current world crisis, but as they say "the downfall of a man is not the end of his life", but instead of staying idle and lamenting, I think they can make themselves useful by being creative and thinking outside the box, maybe they could learn forex trading or crypto trading any of which, or if they've a skills like graphic designing or programming skills they can try doing some freelance jobs at fiverr, I heard they do pay well there,so they just have to keep grinding.
