AI projects? There used to be a time when there was a rise in AI projects with each of them presenting beautiful whitepapers and so on but later on it was realized they couldn't work. Now for you to ask this, means you haven't come across any successful one apart from the one you already know thus showing that no one cares about them again which also means they are gone. On the other hand, even if there is any that is existing it might still be struggling thus the reason they are not always heard of. There will be a time it will work but for now, it seems there are no developers with the right set of skills to bring it to fruition.
