Lately, I've read that you can take phones, laptops and many other things for cheap, like pay 1 dollar, and you join the lottery to win that laptop for 2k$.
It is all a giveaway. Does any of you met something like this?
Stay away from those kinds of Giveaways they are all scams. They will take a dollar from you and people like you will do the same. They will announce the name of the winner who will only exist on paper.
If like 100 people join the lottery they will get $100 and they will declare the result but no one will receive the product as the winner does not exist.
In the meantime, they will also take some of your personal information by asking you to register on their website.
