I think that definitely seems hype... Doge is used in a lot of games and such, but it has no serious development behind it, seems almost like a side hobby taken by pro developers...
and to reach $1 seems to be on a galaxy far, far away... (unfortunately)
I also think like you that dogecoin to $ 1 is still very far.

but I see Dogecoin loved by many people, regardless of HYPE or the like. in the future, we do not know what will happen to Dogecoin, maybe Doge will go to $ 1.
As long as there’s a hype, hitting $1 is possible but it should be on a perfect timing just like what is happening right now. People rush to buy Dodge because of a hype statement where we all know that is too impossible to happen.

It would need a huge sum of money to push Dogecoin to $1.  It is not impossible but I believe it will have a steep chance. And all this ruckus are just hype,  I would suggest looking deeper before being carried away from this recent price increase of Dogecoin.

Its just pure hype andi dont know why people do talk about pushing up the price to a dollar which they havent even trying to realize on what would be the thing that needed for it to be achieved
which i can say that it is really not possible to reach that high specially for this kind of coin or project which had been known to be a meme coin in the first place. Who would mainly support this  stuff?
Its hard to believe on such situation. When it comes to price increase then this market is highly reactive to hype and when its been triggered out then you can really see or expect these
kind of scenario.
