Q: What happens when the 17.9 million TRANQ for TranquilityNET licenses gets used up due to completed audits?
A: We expect 17.9 Million TRANQ to be enough for hotel operations through to the year 2027 or so. By 2027, TRANQ will be easily retrieved from existing TRANQ holders which includes upwards of 30 million extra TRANQ which could potentially be enough for hotel operations until 2035. Once nearly all TRANQ units are used, TRANQ will eventually replaced by a successor token that will be of no hassle to TranquilityNET users to integrate. Until then, we are confident that the 17.9 Million TRANQ License Fund will serve its purpose without any major difficulties.
Q: Does this mean my TRANQ tokens will be worthless in 2035?
A: Absolutely not. When and if the time comes, we will launch a 1:1 token swap for those who are still holding TRANQ units.
Q: Why aren’t TRANQ units used for every hotel operation for added security? Why only the night audit?
A: TRANQ is based on the Ethereum network which requires GAS to perform the “transaction” to run each audit cycle. GAS costs money and the amount depends varies every day. Using TRANQ for every basic function in TranquilityNET would cause operating costs to skyrocket.
Q: How do front desk agents or hotel managers use TRANQ?
A: TRANQ is a backend tool which is not utilized by any hotel employee. TRANQ is used behind the scenes for added security during the night audit process to verify that all information is correct. Front desk agents and management only work with the front end of TranquilityNET to complete their day-to-day operations.
