Same day as expiry date is fine to eat, anything after beware. There's ways to tell if meat gone bad for specific meats but universally if it's slimy or smells off just throw it in the bin. Saving a few dollars on meat is NEVER worth the stomach ache and misery of eating bad meat. Just eat some ramen and be more mindful next time.
