If the chicken stays in freezer?even if it is week expired that is still good to cook,But if it is exposed outside the freezer and just bring it back to freeze again then that might be contaminated and not good to eat.

there are some process in locals in which the food has been left exposed to have bad smell before eating,but i dont do this practice lol.
