I would love to buy Ripple's stock as they are now gearing up to list Ripple in US stock market. The future looks really great for Ripple as a business, not as a coin!
Does this add value to ripple somehow anyway?

Yes it's bit concerning and even I was early investor of ripple but stopped investing once I got enough evident that it's a centralised coin and we cannot expect much from ripple for its users or hodlers since they increase total supply whenever thee want to dump the coins and we should understand that the purpose of ripple is to serve bankers not users.
