I'm not really sure about the reports but I'm thinking that Asia particularly the remittances there is a multi billion business and there is where XRP is making its presence felt, as well as Middle East and Africa.
If we are to look at the last great altcoin party in 2017-early 2018, Ripple was included, despite the many attacks on them as centralised and banker's token. So if history repeats itself, then of course it can have a good run is ever this is a party this 2020.
It's all time high is January 2018, which coincide with the altcoin rally that year.
