Mike Conley is not anymore on his prime and his contract will soon expire, hopefully that will open up a cap for the young Jazz players like Clarkson.
Playoff time soon, Mike Conley has a great experience so hopefully he can help his team with that.
I remember Mike Conley as the best point guard in Memphis. It's just sad they haven't reached the NBA finals when they made an upset against the OKC in 2013 NBA 2nd round playoffs. I think he's a perfect compliment with Marc Gasol. After their tandem in Memphis, he seems lost and cannot find his rhythm.
Conley is a veteran point guard, So I agree with you that he can help his teammates with his experience.
You would really remember as Mike Conley sings the biggest contract in the NBA, and that was with the Memphis, and they would not give him that big salary if they weren't impressed by him.

That's $30.6 million per season.
That's a disappointment but it's not too late, if he can prove himself in the playoffs and help his team to succeed, he might get a good contract again once his contract expires. BTW, his contract will expire next season,
