Ripple and XRP are two diffrent things. Ripple is an organization that offers many products, one of them is XRP token. This token doesn´t have any value, it is not a share of Ripple company and other products do not support mainly XRP token. So, you have to believe that Ripple will push more XRP token into its others product and integrate it. Without it XRP won´t have any value in the future. 
yeah but XRP already acts like a representation for Ripple and I think it's not wrong to just call it ripple since most of us here already know that everytime people means Ripple it's either XRP token or the organization based on context.
