OP, there few good and trusted wallets.
Electrum (
their github), Bitcoin Core, and Armory. The last two is hard to install and for example Bitcoin Core is lack many capabilities which Electrum has. I don't know anything about Armory, because i never used it by myself.
Try out BlueWallet[1]. SegWit support, great UI/UX, open-source, and it has lightning support if you want to test it out. Pretty much covers everything I need in a Bitcoin wallet.

https://bluewallet.io/Interesting, but i must remind you, that any wallet on Android can't be considered as "secure", because Android OS is too weak in terms of security (too much bugs, exploits and so on). But it's capabilities is nice of course.
