It seems that their only option is to sit and pray that most people will pull through on their own and the infection will subside eventually. I have seen some of the interviews with the experts. They say that once the community spread happens, lockdowns and quarantines may have only limited impact. And in the United States, the community spread started many months back and now there is hardly any county or city which is free from it.
